Lock installation in Barcelona
A new door, an empty pocket, or a case that forces a new cut. We mark, pocket and test the closing. It is not a lock replacement.
Installing is creating or adapting the housing. Replacing is taking one case out and putting another in the same pocket. If you mix the two, the quote will not fit.
The amount is closed once thickness, edge and frame are measured. There is no closed figure on the prices table because the pocket changes from one leaf to another.
When we install, not replace
A leaf that arrives with no mechanism
Key height must be marked, a pocket cut, and case plus cylinder fitted.
From a simple case to one with more throws
The old pocket is not enough. A new one is cut if the edge allows it.
A back room or store with no decent closing
A secondary access that never had a mortise lock. A mechanism that matches the use is fitted.
Leaves we pocket
Solid wood or workshop leaf
The edge needs depth for the case. A 35 mm hollow leaf will not take a Mottura.
Shop metal
The subframe and faceplate are the job. The cut is not a tenement cut.
A reinforced door with a factory pocket
Sometimes only the intended case must be mounted. If the pocket does not match, that is said.
Limits of installation
We do not varnish or paint
A raw edge is finished by whoever does the leaf.
No sound frame, no anchoring
A split strike will not hold a new case.
Not an opening
If you are locked out, access is recovered first. Installation is booked when the leaf is usable.

Frequently asked questions
Do you install on any door?
On wood, metal and reinforced leaves that can take the case. If there is no edge, that is said on the visit.
On the same day as an opening?
If the part is available and the leaf allows it, yes. If not, the access is left usable and installation is booked.
Why is it not on the prices table?
Because pocketing is not a swap. The Sagrera example is an order of magnitude.
