Door opening, lock and cylinder replacement, and installation for homes, communities and premises. Choose the service or the Barcelona district.
Call 605 853 182 to request the visit. The call records the address, the door type and whether you cannot get in; that is what organises who goes out and whether it is immediate or booked. At your threshold, a Cerrajería Efectiva locksmith identifies the mechanism, says what can be done, and works on that door.
We attend homes, shops, offices and communities in Barcelona. If you cannot get in now, the emergency call-out is on the 24-hour locksmiths page. If you can still open and want a cylinder, a lock change or an installation, the visit is booked.
The quote is stated before any work. The prices page has examples for daytime and night opening, cylinder changes and repair, with VAT, travel and parts broken out.

On the homepage only the ones we see every week in Barcelona: TESA, CISA, Yale and Mottura. Models, compatibility and limits are on the brands page.
Four short steps. The order does not change: understand the access, see the mechanism, then act without unnecessary force.
You describe the door, whether it is an emergency or a booked visit, and the neighbourhood. That decides an immediate call-out or an appointment.
At the threshold we identify the lock type, the cylinder and whether the leaf or frame is forced. That sets the job.
Opening, replacement or installation, depending on the case. The aim is to get in without wrecking the door when the mechanism allows it.
Key, latch and clearances are checked. If a new cylinder or lock is needed, it is fitted in the same visit when the part is available.
Three concrete answers before you call: who comes to the door, how the price is closed, and what is covered afterwards.
A locksmith from this workshop goes to the address you give. At the threshold they identify cylinder, case and frame, explain the route and only then intervene. 605 853 182 is the phone number to request that visit: the call notes the address, the door type and whether you cannot get in, and that organises the call-out. The quote is stated before any work.
The phone gives an orientation from the door type and the time slot. The firm amount is stated once the mechanism is seen, before any work. Travel inside Barcelona city is included in the price examples. VAT 21% is extra unless a total is shown.
Twelve months of labour on replacement and installation if the use is as agreed. A new cylinder or case, as goods we supply on the visit, carries the legal conformity warranty that consumer law grants against the party who hands you that part — Cerrajería Efectiva — not only against the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s commercial warranty of the model, if there is one, is additional and does not replace it. An opening does not cover a mechanism that was already spent: if replacement is needed, it is quoted separately.
Four examples of the kind of visit requested here. They are not work sheets from a named client or call-outs with a date: the detail is the door, the neighbourhood and the part that would be treated.
A key snapped in a euro-profile cylinder. The fragment is extracted, the door is opened via the barrel and a new cylinder is left, measured on both sides of the faceplate.
A worn barrel that no longer turned cleanly. Inside and outside lengths are measured, the old one is removed and a standard cylinder with three keys is fitted.
A swollen wooden door: the latch was scraping the frame. The strike is regulated and the throw is checked; the case did not need replacing.
The night lock would not anchor. The anchor point and the shutter lock are treated, without touching the shopfront.
