Security locks in Barcelona
A security case is not a security cylinder. Here we install or replace the multi-point mechanism when the edge and frame can hold it.
A security cylinder (TESA, CISA) belongs on the cylinder-replacement page. This page is the case: more throws, anchoring, and a barrel that matches that case.
A Mottura is not fitted on a thin leaf. If there is no base, that is said and another route is proposed.
When a security case makes sense
A flat with a simple mortise lock and a sound edge
You want more grip. Thickness and frame are checked before committing to a model.
After a forced attempt, frame still aligned
A new case can be anchored. If the frame is open, the leaf comes first.
A shop opening onto the street
Night lock-up needs a case that stands daily use, not only a long barrel.
Leaves that can take it
A standard reinforced door
It often already has a pocket. The intended case or a measured equivalent is fitted.
Wood of 40 mm or more
There is depth to anchor. Below that, the case has nothing to grip.
Shop metal with a subframe
The real anchoring is assessed, not the catalogue name.
Limits
A 35 mm leaf or a split frame
There is no anchoring. It is not fitted.
No seal selling
We do not publish standards or stars. The work is described: throws, cylinder and fixing.
Not a repair
A spent security case is replaced; the bolt is not patched.
